renovation of a sixteenth century farmhouse. we brutally inserted modern lines without taking into account the style of the existing building. in this way the two styles meet, highlighting the differences of the eras. this operation is somehow more respectful of the existing architecture than a traditional restoration that would have given the building an artificial taste. an elegant and sober composition emerged
